Data Architect

Experienced and strategic Senior Data Architect required to lead the design, development, and governance of the enterprise data architecture. This is a high-impact role responsible for shaping our modern data platform, driving architectural standards, and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise — particularly with Databricks — with exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at executive level.

• Design and own the enterprise data architecture strategy, roadmap, and standards
• Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms using Databricks
• Define data models, data integration patterns, and governance frameworks
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into data solutions
• Act as the senior technical authority for data architecture decisions
• Guide and mentor data engineers, analysts, and solution architects
• Ensure best practices in data quality, security, privacy, and compliance
• Drive modernization initiatives including cloud-native and lakehouse architectures
• Manage vendor and technology evaluations where required

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions using Databricks (mandatory)
• Strong experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Expertise in data modelling (conceptual, xcfaprz logical, and physical)
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse architecture, ETL/ELT, and streaming frameworks
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management skills at senior level — able to influence C-suite and business leaders
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience leading architecture forums and governance boards
