We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our innovative software development team. In this role, you will drive the quality assurance process by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans for a variety of applications, including mobile and web platforms. **
* Develop and implement detailed test cases and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
* Conduct functional, system, regression, performance, load, and user acceptance testing across multiple platforms such as Android, iOS, and web applications.
* Utilize automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript to streamline testing processes.
* Perform API testing using RESTful services to verify data exchange between client applications and servers; analyze API responses for correctness and performance.
* Execute mobile testing on Android and iOS devices to ensure app stability, usability, and compatibility across different devices and operating systems.
* Analyze test results to identify root causes of issues; collaborate with development teams for troubleshooting and resolution using debugging tools.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, defect reports, test plans, and testing progress using tools like HP ALM, Jira, or TFS.
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab to support continuous integration practices; monitor build statuses for early defect detection.
* Conduct database validation using SQL or PL/SQL queries on systems such as MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server; perform data analysis to verify data integrity.
* Support release management activities by validating new software builds before deployment; participate in requirements gathering and review sessions aligned with SDLC methodologies like Agile or Waterfall.

* Proven experience in software quality assurance with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
* Hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver combined with programming languages including Java or Python.
* Familiarity with mobile testing tools for Android and iOS platforms; experience with Appium is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of API testing using RESTful services; experience with tools like Postman or SoapUI is desirable.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Bash) for creating automated test scripts; experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab is essential.
* Ability to perform root cause analysis by analyzing logs from systems such as MySQL databases or server-side APIs.
* Experience working within Agile environments utilizing Jira or similar project management tools; familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN is required.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets using SQL queries; knowledge of performance testing tools like LoadRunner is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills to document testing procedures clearly and collaborate effectively across teams.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for testing distributed systems is a plus. Pay: $91,138.18 - $145,671.78 per year
