Job Summary The Enterprise Solutions Architect plays a critical role by partnering with account teams to analyze customer data center environments and devise customized infrastructure solutions that meet their business goals. This position requires establishing strong technical partnerships with OEMs, delivering training to sales teams and clients, managing the solution practice pipeline, and engaging with diverse client stakeholders to spot technology opportunities across Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, and Services domains. This position is remote, but candidates must reside in the surrounding Chicago, IL area to meet business needs as determined by SHI management. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with account teams to assess and understand customer data center environments and technologies.
Develop and present tailored infrastructure solutions that align with business goals.
Foster and maintain robust technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners, keeping abreast of industry trends.
Provide in-depth product training and technical education for sales teams and customers.
Serve as a trusted IT advisor, collaborating with Field Account Executives.
Oversee the solution practice pipeline by conceptualizing strategies for high-potential prospects and acquiring new business.
Identify and explore technology opportunities in Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services areas.
Craft solutions that cater to customer requirements and budget considerations through strategic planning.
Engage with a range of client contacts, including CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs, for thorough account management.
Educate and empower sales teams on technical selling techniques, product knowledge, services, and emerging technology trends.

Qualifications Intermediate experience in complex Data Center sales opportunities.
Ability to design data center infrastructures, including hybrid cloud, hyper-converged, SDDC, automation, and more.
Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and related tools.
Proficient in articulating complex technical products and their value to customers.
Intermediate knowledge of leading technologies: Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, and others.
Experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and High Availability Solutions.
Additional Requirements Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Willingness to travel for SHI, Partner, and Customer events.
Advanced certifications in one or more mainstream technologies preferred.
The base salary for this role ranges from $112,000 to $182,000, with estimated on-target earnings (OTE) including base salary and bonus between $160,000 and $260,000. Compensation depends on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location, varying per individual.
