About the RoleAs a Residential Home Team Leader , you will play a crucial role in:
- Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of our home.
- Creating a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for our young residents.
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of our 'Outstanding' rated service.
- Leading a small team to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
In this role, you will:
- Deputize for the Registered Manager when needed.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and Ofsted standards.
- Engage with children to foster a sense of belonging and community.
- Manage staff effectively, ensuring a positive and professional atmosphere.
- Contribute to menu planning and food quality for our residents.
- Participate in regular training and development to enhance your skills.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A full UK driving license.
- Your Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.
- A passion for supporting young people and a commitment to their welfare.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a commitment of 40 hours per week . You will be working in a supportive and collaborative environment, where your contributions will be valued and recognized.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary structure:
- Basic salary of £27,803.20 , with potential earnings up to £34,523.20 through sleep-in shifts.
- Up to £6,720 in sleep-in payments (average of 6-8 shifts per month).
