Are you a dynamic and inspirational leader ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a passionate Residential Home Team Leader to join our dedicated team at Bayview, located in the beautiful Capernwray, Carnforth. In this role, you will help guide young individuals aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties, creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters their growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the daily operations of the home.
- Provide leadership and support to staff, ensuring a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and Bay View Childcare policies.
- Manage day-to-day aspects of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.
- Engage with children to build meaningful relationships and enhance their quality of life.
- Participate in menu planning and ensure food quality meets pre-agreed standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and manage staff effectively.
- A full UK driving license.
- Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.
- Strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to communicate effectively and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. You will be part of a supportive team in a family-oriented environment, working with a maximum of four young people per home. Your role will involve sleep-in shifts, with a basic salary of £27,803.20 and the potential to earn up to £34,523.20 with additional sleep-in payments.
