Form F Assessor

Salary: £2,000 + Expenses

Location: Multiple locations throughout the UK

At Polaris Community , we are passionate about providing the best outcomes for every child in our care. As we expand our independent fostering services, we are on the lookout for dedicated Independent Form F Assessors to support our fostering teams across the UK.

As a Form F Assessor, your mission will be to safeguard the futures of foster children by conducting thorough assessments of prospective foster families. Your role will involve:

• Producing high-quality, evidence-based analytical fostering assessments.
• Presenting findings in a clear and impactful manner.
• Staying informed about child care legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and the Fostering and Adoption Act 2002.

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Qualified social worker with significant post-qualification experience in foster parent assessments.
• Registered with your country's applicable social work council (e.g., SWE, SSSC).
• Willing to obtain professional indemnity insurance.
• Available to attend a mandatory induction day and training sessions.
• Possess unrestricted access to your own transport and be willing to travel.
• Pass statutory and company checks as part of the assessment process.
• Ideally, have completed at least one Form F Assessment and taken it to Panel.
