The RoleWe are on the lookout for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the vital role of foster parents. In this position, you will:
- Collaborate closely with foster parents to ensure meaningful supervision of placements.
- Maintain high standards through quality assurance and training for foster parents.
- Recruit, train, and supervise foster parents while promoting the welfare of children.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A Social Work England qualification or equivalent, and be registered with Social Work England.
- Experience in fostering and a comprehensive understanding of fostering regulations and child care law.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high-quality practice.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases.
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that may require occasional work after 5 PM and on weekends. You will also participate in an Out of Hours rota for the Northwest region.
