Your RoleAs a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Supporting the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
- Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
- Supervising pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
- Building positive relationships with students to drive interaction and enhance learning outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A strong educational background at degree level
- Previous successful teaching experience
- Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting
- Skills in behavior management and techniques
- A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check
