We are seeking an efficient and accurate Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Huntsville, Alabama. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by retrieving products from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will be working in a dynamic environment, utilizing scanning equipment and following specific picking instructions. The ability to perform sustained Lifting, attention to detail, and adherence to Safety protocols are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or electronic systems.
- Use hand-held scanners to track inventory and confirm picked items.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Transport picked orders to the shipping area.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform occasional Lifting of boxes and items up to 40 lbs.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse picking is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick lists and RF scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
