This key position involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, including managing staff, optimizing workflow, and ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods. You will be responsible for coordinating receiving, storage, and shipping activities, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping.
- Manage warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure efficient space utilization and organization within the warehouse.
- Implement and enforce all Safety procedures and protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to maintain adequate stock.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, when necessary.
- Liaise with other departments and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain records and prepare operational reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse Safety best practices.
