Responsibilities:
- Prepare and print shipping labels for all outgoing packages.
- Accurately document all shipment details in the shipping software.
- Verify package contents against shipping orders for accuracy.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS) for pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure all packages are properly sealed, labeled, and meet carrier requirements.
- Maintain a tidy and organized shipping area.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding shipping status.
- Assist with tracking shipments and resolving any shipping-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common carrier platforms.
- Strong data entry and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Understanding of logistics and shipping best practices.
