Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility is looking for a dedicated Shipping Clerk to manage the efficient and accurate processing of all outbound goods. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a vital role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that products leave our warehouse in pristine condition and on schedule. This position requires a high level of responsibility and attention to detail. You will be interacting with various shipping partners and internal teams to guarantee seamless logistics. - Process and prepare all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Verify order details against physical inventory.
- Create and affix shipping labels and documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups.
- Maintain comprehensive shipping logs and records.
- Keep the shipping dock area tidy and safe.
- Collaborate with inventory control and customer service teams.
- Uphold all company standards for safety and operational excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations.
- Proficient use of computers and shipping software.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and collaboratively.
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices, including the correct use of PPE.
- Capacity for lifting and moving packages up to 50 lbs.
- A strong understanding of logistics principles and supply chain flow.
