Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments.
- Storing inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Picking customer orders efficiently and accurately using RF scanners.
- Packing orders securely to ensure product safety during transit.
- Preparing shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely (certification and training available).
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company standards.
- Participating in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the distribution center.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Reliability and punctuality.
