Responsibilities:
- Accepting and unloading incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Organizing and stocking inventory in its designated location within the warehouse.
- Accurately picking items from shelves based on customer order lists or system directives.
- Packing orders securely and efficiently to ensure product safety during transit.
- Preparing orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and correctly.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Adhering to all company safety protocols and using required PPE diligently.
- Participating in routine inventory counts and stock checks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activity, including lifting items up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
- Willingness to strictly follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations is beneficial.
