We are seeking a reliable and efficient Shipping & Receiving Associate for our busy facility in Los Angeles, California. This role is central to our **logistics** operations, managing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately receiving deliveries, inspecting goods, managing inventory, and preparing shipments for dispatch. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to **safety** are paramount. This position requires coordination with various internal departments and external carriers to ensure smooth and timely operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately record incoming and outgoing inventory using warehouse management systems.
- Organize and store received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare outbound shipments, including proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company **safety** regulations and **PPE** guidelines.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in shipping, receiving, or a similar warehouse role is required. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and other relevant machinery is highly desirable. Must be able to perform tasks requiring **Lifting** (up to 50 lbs) and prolonged standing. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. A strong commitment to workplace **safety** and adherence to **PPE** requirements is mandatory. This role is integral to the efficiency of our **logistics** network.
