Data solution architecture plays a pivotal role in organizations wanting to utilize data for informed decision-making, analytics, and AI capabilities. It ensures that data is effectively stored and optimized for accessibility and future growth. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement data solution architectures that align with business objectives. Translate business requirements into logical and physical data models. Ensure compliance of data systems with industry regulations and internal policies. Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable and secure data solutions. Optimize data storage and security to meet current and future requirements. Create data pipelines to support machine learning and AI initiatives. Work with data scientists to maintain data quality and consistency for effective model training and deployment. Develop and sustain data architectures that foster advanced analytics and AI-driven applications. Integrate structured and unstructured data sources for AI/ML applications. Support deployment and monitoring of machine learning models in live environments. Assess and recommend new technologies for AI and ML data management. Establish best practices for data versioning, lineage, and reproducibility in AI/ML workflows. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Five to eight years of relevant experience. Preferred Skills: Expertise in enterprise data architecture and database design, covering conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling. Strong hands-on experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin) and relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle). Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and architecture support. Deep knowledge of modern data platforms, including cloud data warehouses (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, BigQuery), data lakes, and real-time data pipelines. Solid understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and data quality in compliance-driven environments. Experience in designing scalable and secure data solutions that address enterprise analytics and reporting requirements. Ability to translate business requirements into technical data architectures while collaborating with stakeholders. Excellent communication skills to convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Familiarity with designing AI-ready data architectures to enhance analytics and machine learning applications. Adept understanding of preparing data for machine learning workflows. Knowledge of real-time data architectures that support AI/ML applications. Awareness of the machine learning lifecycle and MLOps concepts for data pipelines. Understanding of how AI and generative AI solutions integrate with enterprise data. Location Expectations: This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week.
