Salary: £28,000 - £39,520

Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Welcome to Dunsley Hall School , where we create a nurturing and supportive environment for pupils aged 5 to 18 with complex needs. Your Role

As a SEN Class Teacher , you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
  • Supporting the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other school staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
  • Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
  • Building positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and foster positive learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have a strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
  • Bring previous successful teaching experience, particularly with pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Possess experience in behavior management techniques.
  • Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
  • Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
