Supervising Social Worker

• Base Location: Coventry
• Hours: 28 hours per week (4 days)
• Salary: Up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00)

• Caseload Area: Midlands and South Yorkshire (no more than 1 hour's drive, flexibility required)

As a Supervising Social Worker , you will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct support to foster parents within a manageable caseload.
• Conducting regular supervision to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes.

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is:

• Enthusiastic and Committed: You appreciate the vital role of foster parents and work collaboratively with them.
• Experienced: You have a background in children and families social work and a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation.
• Skilled: Excellent report writing abilities and good IT skills are essential.
• Flexible: You can adapt your working pattern and travel as needed.
• Qualified: Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.

This is a demanding yet rewarding position that includes both quality assurance and training roles for foster parents. You will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, which will be covered by Fosterplus.
