Supervising Social Worker

• Base Location: Coventry
• Hours: 28 hours per week (4 days)
• Salary: Up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00)

• Caseload Area: Midlands and South Yorkshire (maximum 1 hour's drive, with occasional flexibility required)

As a Supervising Social Worker , you will play a crucial role in supporting our foster parents and ensuring the best outcomes for the children in our care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct support to foster parents within a manageable caseload, ensuring high levels of supervision.
• Conducting regular supervision sessions with allocated foster parents to monitor their practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is:

• Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
• Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Possessing a full driving licence and access to your own car.
• Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledgeable about relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
• Flexible in working patterns and travel.
