About the RoleAs a Residential Support Worker in Poole, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team, delivering tailored care packages to our children and young adults. Your role will involve:
- Providing high levels of support and guidance to ensure the safety and well-being of our young people.
- Establishing and maintaining positive, trusting relationships.
- Encouraging the development of individual interests and skills.
- Working flexibly across a 3-week rotation, including 24-hour shifts with sleep-ins.
We seek individuals who are not only qualified but also share our commitment to supporting vulnerable young people. Here’s what you need:
- Experience working with children and young people, with an understanding of the challenges they face.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins.
- A willingness to learn and grow, with a commitment to obtaining a Level 4 diploma if not already qualified.
- A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a small team.
- A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (which we will cover).
