Residential Support Worker

We are looking for enthusiastic Residential Support Workers to join our team in Poole!

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

• Provide flexible and individualized care packages for children and young adults.
• Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of our young people.
• Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships.
• Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Experience working with children and young people, along with an understanding of the challenges they face.
• Flexibility to work 7 x 24-hour shifts, including sleep-ins, on a rotating schedule.
• A willingness to pursue a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent, with a goal to upgrade to Level 4.
• A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• A commitment to learning and personal development.
• A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (which we will cover).
