Supervising Social Worker

Base Location: Coventry

Hours: 28 hours per week (4 days)

Salary: Up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00)

As a Supervising Social Worker , you will play a crucial role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high-quality placements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct support to foster parents within a manageable caseload.
• Conducting regular supervision to monitor compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in assessments and decision-making.

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. Key requirements include:

• A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
• Previous experience in children and families social work.
• A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
• Good IT skills and the ability to work flexibly.
• A full driving license and access to your own car.

Your office will be located in Long Eaton, with a standard caseload covering the Midlands and South Yorkshire. You can expect to travel no more than an hour for your assignments, though some flexibility may be required for team collaboration.
