Salary: Up to £39,000 (dependent on experience)

We are on the lookout for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the fostering community. Your role will involve:

• Collaborating with foster parents to promote meaningful supervision of placements.
• Providing quality assurance and training for both prospective and current foster parents.
• Recruiting, training, and supervising Foster Parents while promoting the welfare of children.

To thrive in this demanding position, you should have:

• A full driving licence and be a confident driver, ready to travel across the North West.
• Experience working with foster parents as professional colleagues.
• Excellent report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

• Hold a Social Work England qualification in Social Work or equivalent, and be registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in fostering and a comprehensive understanding of fostering regulations, child care law, and safeguarding legislation.
• Outstanding communication skills and a commitment to high-quality practice.
• Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases.

This role may require occasional work after 5:00 PM and on weekends, as well as participation in an Out of Hours rota for the Northwest region.
