Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.

• Acute care experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred

Required Credentials:

• Louisiana: LRT (R) or (F) by LSRTB
• One of the following certifications is preferred: Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS, Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS.
• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, an associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field, or an acceptable equivalent required

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree preferred

Unit/Facility Details: Nurse / Patient Ratio: 8 cases on average per day

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirement: On call only
• On Call Requirement: 8-10 shifts including weekends and holidays. On call starts at 3:30PM until 7:00AM the next morning

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• (R) (Registered Technologist - Radiography)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

• RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) or the alternative certifications RCS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)), CI (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)), VI (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)), RVT (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS))
