Key Responsibilities
Provide expert technical support and guidance to customers and sales teams on product application and integration within manufacturing processes. Analyze customer manufacturing requirements and propose optimal product solutions, configurations, and process improvements. Conduct product demonstrations, pilot projects, and proof-of-concept tests to validate performance in real-world manufacturing environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to product performance, installation, and integration. Develop and deliver technical training programs for internal teams and external customers on product features and best practices. Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to provide customer feedback and market insights for future product enhancements. Create detailed technical documentation, application notes, and case studies to support sales efforts and customer understanding. Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing). 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a technical support or applications role. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation technologies. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a production setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer and internal stakeholder engagement. Proficiency with relevant engineering software (e.g., CAD, CAM, PLC programming, simulation). Bonus Qualifications
Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#, PLC ladder logic) for automation or custom solutions. Experience with specific advanced manufacturing technologies such as robotics, AI vision systems, or additive manufacturing. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET) and network architecture. Certification or practical experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Advanced CAD/CAM/CAE skills, including simulation or design optimization.
