Skills: Infrastructure, Devops, Technical project manager/coordinator, AWS
We are seeking an experienced *Technical Project Manager* to lead complex, technology driven projects involving cloud infrastructure, virtualization, observability implementations, and software delivery. The ideal candidate will bridge technical teams (DevOps, engineering, security) and business stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
You will manage end-to-end delivery in Agile/Scrum environments, with strong expertise in *JIRA* for workflow management, *Azure and AWS* for cloud/virtualization initiatives, and *Logz.io* for observability, logging, metrics, and AI-driven monitoring projects.
We require a technical project manager capable of managing high-level engagements, setting and hosting conference calls, working closely with other team members, documenting critical requirements, and bridging the gap between external expectations and internal technical execution.
This is a *24/7, including weekends and holidays high availability role*; candidates must be able to support a fluctuating schedule based on project demands.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects including *cloud migrations, infrastructure virtualization software deployments, observability platform rollouts (e.g., Logz.io integrations), and related DevOps initiatives.*
* Manage full project lifecycle using *Agile/Scrum methodologies*: sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release coordination.
* Utilize *JIRA (and Confluence)* extensively to create epics, user stories, track tasks, manage dependencies, monitor burndown charts, generate reports, and maintain transparent dashboards for stakeholders.
* Oversee *cloud resource provisioning, virtualization setups (VMs, containers, Kubernetes)*, and *infrastructure-as-code deployments* on *Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)*.
* Coordinate *Logz.io implementations*, including log ingestion pipelines, metric/tracing integrations, dashboard creation, alert configurations, and AI-powered root-cause analysis features.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (*developers, SREs, cloud architects, security, vendors*) to define technical requirements, resolve blockers, and mitigate risks.
* Track project metrics (*scope, schedule, budget, quality*), produce status reports, maintain risk registers, and escalate issues as needed.
* Facilitate stakeholder communications, requirement gathering, change management, and post-implementation reviews.
* Ensure compliance with security, governance, and best practices in cloud/virtualized environments.
*Mandatory Skills*
* *Bachelor’s degree* in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (*Master’s preferred*).
* *5+ years of experience* as a Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, or similar role delivering *IT/cloud projects*.
* Proven hands-on experience managing projects in *Azure and/or AWS environments*, including virtualization (*VMware, Hyper-V, EC2, Azure VMs, containers*), migrations, and infrastructure automation.
* Strong proficiency with *JIRA* for Agile project tracking, custom workflows, automation rules, reporting, and integrations (e.g., *Confluence, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools*).
* Practical experience with *Logz.io* (or similar observability tools like *ELK, Datadog, Splunk*) — including setup, data onboarding, querying, alerting, and leveraging AI agents for troubleshooting.
* Solid understanding of *cloud computing concepts, SDLC, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure technologies*.
* Experience with *Agile tools and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)*; certifications like *PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Azure Fundamentals* highly desirable.
*Desired Skills*
* Familiarity with additional tools such as *Azure DevOps, MS Project, Terraform*, etc.
