We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to operational excellence. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse functions, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and shipping. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring productivity, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency within the logistics framework. Your role will involve optimizing workflow, implementing best practices in inventory management, and enforcing strict safety protocols. We expect our supervisors to be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous enhancement of warehouse processes. The ability to motivate and develop a team is essential. You will ensure that all team members are properly trained on equipment, procedures, and the correct use of PPE . This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen understanding of supply chain dynamics. Strong communication skills are vital for liaising with other departments and reporting on key performance indicators. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and productive working environment. This role involves significant oversight of manual labor, including managing tasks that require substantial Lifting . Your focus on Safety will be paramount to the success of the entire operation.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff activities.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and enforce Safety policies and procedures.
- Train and develop warehouse associates.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for efficiency.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety guidelines.
- Manage shipping and receiving functions, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments.
- Manage tasks involving significant Lifting and material movement within the Logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practices in Logistics .
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and inventory management systems.
- Strong understanding of health and Safety regulations, including the use of PPE .
- Ability to manage a team and drive performance.
- Experience with manual tasks requiring significant Lifting .
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
