The Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for identifying opportunities within the business related to strategic inventory reduction, logistics, materials, demand planning and in addition to performing various system maintenance and KPI tasks. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical skills, high capacity, and heavy initiative. The analyst will develop reporting queries, interpret internal and/or external business reports and date issues and recommend solutions/best practices. Key Accountabilities:
Develop and deliver business reports and various queries or models for Operations Management and other Supply Chain leaders. Develop searches and analyze data from shipping, inventory, and supply chain planning to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in the supply chain. Develop and implement strategies for supply chain optimization, including inventory management, demand planning, and logistics. Assist in managing inventory levels to prevent overstock or stockouts, optimizing warehouse space and logistics. Propose, implement, and support cross-functional, multi-site, or high-level business models to support in alignment with business strategy. Define high-risk or high-level problems, collect data, analyze data, offer solutions, and implement to achieve the desired results. Represent the Supply Chain on cross-functional business unit teams and align project or process improvement goals with functional business objectives. Team leader on strategic projects and directs the work of others assigned to lead strategic and/or enterprise-wide Supply Chain improvements. Report on various departmental KPIs Required Education, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or Industrial and Systems Engineering. 2+ years' experience in related field Experience with Palantir Foundry, including building data products, managing pipelines, and designing ontology structures to support scalable, data-driven solutions. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and must have experience in one or more of the various software/programming languages and one or more of the various platforms with preference for R, Python, Java, SQL, C++, Power BI, Business Tableau Experience in ERP environments (Oracle, SAP) helpful with specific focus on Supply Chain support modules Builds strong working relationships with internal and/or external customers. Takes the initiative to solve customer problems and delivers what the customer is promised. Utilizes change management methodologies to drive organizational change. Expresses ideas effectively through written and verbal communications. Advanced skills in all Microsoft product with specific focus on Excel. Exposure to MSProject, Visio, Access preferred. About Us
