SpotLIGHT of the job

You will join our Customer Engagement Management under the Sales division of our Lighting Brands, focused on creating unforgettable moments for customers and colleagues from around the world. With a passion for light in our DNA, we host customers and colleagues daily in the beautiful Dornbirn, Austria, more precisely in the Light Forum of the Zumtobel Group.

In this position, you will lead customer visits and present your lighting expertise and knowledge to the audience. You act as a lighting specialist, moderator, and strong personality to create memorable experiences and to foster our success.

  • You are responsible for creating concepts and content for the customer visits in the ZG Light Forum (Dornbirn), taking into consideration different target groups and customer expectations
  • You have the lead during the visits, as a moderator and a host, persuade with your lighting knowledge, present products and applications in a remarkable way
  • In cooperation with Organization and Sales Team you create the complete agenda, from arrival to departure of the participants
  • You cooperate with Product and Application managers, internal and external specialists to prepare the content and integrate the latest novelties and on trend topics in your concepts
  • You organize online presentations, enabling colleagues who do not sit in Dornbirn to meet with the customers in the digital world
  • You support the development and delivery of internal training programs to share lighting knowledge across the ZG
  • You participate in the training organized internally and visit lighting conferences to improve and keep your knowledge at the highest level

  • To succeed in this role, you'll need strong planning skills and the ability to remain calm and flexible in unexpected situations.
  • You hold a degree in Electrical engineering, Lighting Design or Architecture or you have been part of a lighting industry for some time. Preferably, you are a Lighting Expert.
  • Our customer target groups are End Users, Architects, Lighting Designers, Electricians, Electrical consultants, General contractors and Wholesalers. You're highly motivated to learn the interests of all mentioned target groups.
  • You can convincingly transfer knowledge, can clearly and patiently explain lighting-related topics.
  • You have an agile mindset, you can handle multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
  • You use your excellent communication skills (B2 German and English are mandatory) to productively collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders. Other languages are a bonus (e.g. French)
  • Willingness to travel internationally within Europe (approx. 20%)

Legal Disclaimer: Based on the minimum salary of 60 785,90 EUR stipulated in the collective bargaining agreement (for a 38.5-hour workweek), the actual salary for this position will be determined by professional qualifications and experience.
