Supervising Social Worker

• Base Location: Coventry
• Hours: 28 hours per week (4 days)
• Salary: Up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00)
• Office Location: Long Eaton
• Caseload Area: Midlands and South Yorkshire (within 1 hour's drive, with occasional flexibility)

As a Supervising Social Worker , you will play a crucial role in supporting our foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct support and supervision to foster parents within a manageable caseload.
• Monitoring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting best practices.
• Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes.
• Conducting training for prospective and current foster parents.
• Writing comprehensive reports and meeting strict deadlines.

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. Ideal candidates will have:

• A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
• Previous experience in children and families social work.
• A strong understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
• Good IT skills and the ability to be flexible with working patterns and travel.
• A full driving license and access to your own car.
