Support For Sales Department
This position will be responsible for providing support to the Sales Department. In this role, provides customer support by assisting the Sales team. Resolves sales related problems, enters new orders, tracks orders, investigates issues and assists team with customer accounts. Provides administrative duties, issue resolution, deductions, enters and tracks data in system. This role is the key conduit for processing Credits, Deductions and updating data in our systems. They will work closely with other internal departments including Sales, Operations, Finance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc. to insure all Credits and Deductions are completed in the system with all supporting documentation to keep accounts within or below credit limits. Responsible for responding to and investigating queries and developing an understanding of customer and business needs in order to suggest improvements and increase efficiency. Accountabilities: Harvest, post and enter sales orders, and maintain spreadsheet in system. Coordinate product allocation, verify invoice pricing, and confirm order shipments. Research and reconcile customer/sales team claims and account information. Assist with order rejections, and resolution of claim approval process. Function as liaison between Corporate Sales office and FOB, Distribution Centers, Ports, Production etc. Work with quality control to resolve pending and/or potential issues. Acts as primary point of contact within their region location (DC or Office) to process customer credits, deductions, pricing issues, etc into the appropriate systems Complete administrative duties as required. Handle heavy e-mail, fax and call volume. Generate department reports as needed. Weekend coverage might be required based on company needs. Perform special projects as assigned. Minimum Skills Required: High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook). Previous customer service experience (i.e. answer calls, data entry, etc.). Excellent communication skills (i.e. oral and written). Strong organizational and analytical skills. Must be detail-oriented, and able to multi-task. Able to work well under minimal supervision. Have strong deductive reasoning skills.
