Über

We are looking for a committed & motivated Physical Therapist to act as the patient’s partner throughout the trip of restoring motion and ensuring that the patient will function at their personal best. A therapist to maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation in our therapies clinic, long term care facility and acute care patients in for rehabilitation. This is a PRN position.
*Responsibilities*
* Assessment and Treatment Planning-evaluate patient needs and assess current abilities to help develop a individualized treatment plan for all ages & abilities.
* Develop and utilize therapeutic interventions-use treatment plans to help each patient reach his/her therapy needs/goals.
* Patient and Family education-teach each patient (and families) how to perform exercises, use equipment, information and understanding on treatment plan, etc.
* Communicate and coordinate with Physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers on patients care team.
* Documentation-complete all documentation required in the time required by either PCHD policy and or state and federal regulations.
*Skills*
* Proven work experience as a physical therapist
* Intensive education and clinical expertise
* Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
* Ability to manage patients of all ages
* Current knowledge of treatment practices
* Drive to continually learn and grow
* Professional behavior
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy
* Valid license to practice physical therapy
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: From $41.89 per hour

* Bachelor's (Preferred)
License/Certification:
* Physical Therapy License (Required)
* BLS Certification (Preferred)
