ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a
QA Engineer
in
Core Ria Systems , your role will be to validate the quality, reliability, and accuracy of backend services, APIs, ETL jobs, and supporting applications. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and operations teams to ensure our systems behave correctly across complex data flows and integrations.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Test APIs, backend services, and system integrations for accuracy and reliability. Validate ETL jobs and data movement to ensure clean, consistent, and correct results. Create well‑structured test cases and document findings clearly. Investigate issues by reviewing logs, running SQL queries, and analyzing system behavior. Work with developers and support teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects. Support regression, integration, and release testing cycles. Maintain organized, easy‑to‑use test documentation and contribute to process improvements. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of manual QA experience, ideally with backend or data‑driven systems. Strong API testing skills, including request/response validation and error scenario testing. Solid SQL skills to validate data and troubleshoot issues. Experience testing ETL workflows or data pipelines. Understanding of system integrations and backend data flows. Ability to analyze logs and debug system behavior. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and modern QA methodologies. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
