Our Salt Lake City, Utah facility is looking for a diligent Order Picker to contribute to our efficient logistics network. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving specific items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will utilize advanced scanning technology and pick lists to navigate the warehouse and gather the correct merchandise. Precision and speed are key, as is maintaining the integrity of the products you handle. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve ordered items from warehouse storage locations.
- Verify product information against order requests.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to track inventory movement.
- Prepare picked items for staging and further processing.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to management.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must follow all PPE requirements.
