Project Manager Civil

We are seeking to hire a Project Manager, to join our clients' team in Cork, on an upcoming Renewables & Build project. 3+ year project guaranteed on the outskirts of Cork City.

Our client is a leading infrastructure and civil engineering firm currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead a flagship Renewables plant project in Cork.

This role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong background in heavy civils and structural works. You will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle - from initial site setup through to commissioning - ensuring the facility is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest technical standards.

This is a pivotal role in a high-growth renewable energy sector, offering the opportunity to manage complex, multi-disciplinary engineering works.

• Oversee on-site operations, ensuring project milestones are met while maintaining strict adherence to budget and quality specifications.
  
• Co-ordinate and supervise specialised teams, specifically focusing on RC Structures, Civils, and Cladding contractors.
  
• Act as the primary lead for site safety, ensuring all works comply with HSA regulations and environmental standards.
  
• Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure the accurate execution of reinforced concrete tanks and specialized industrial cladding.
  
• Act as the main point of contact between the client, design teams, and local authorities.
  
• Manage plant, materials, and labour efficiently to prevent delays and optimize project flow.
  
• Provide regular progress updates, financial forecasts, and risk assessments to senior management.

• Proven track record as a Project Manager within the Civil Engineering or Industrial Construction sectors. Specific experience with Renewables projects or water/wastewater treatment facilities is advantageous.
  
• Good knowledge in RC (Reinforced Concrete) Structures, groundworks/civils, and the installation of industrial cladding.
  
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required.
  
• Strong understanding of project management software, scheduling, and budgetary oversight.
  
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams under tight deadlines. xcfaprz
  
• Valid Safe Pass and relevant management safety certifications (e.g., Managing Safely in Construction).
