Salary: $365,000 base salary PLUS wRVU productivity

Job Description:

North Country Healthcare is seeking a full-time General Neurologist to join our dynamic team at Androscoggin Valley Hospital , and outreach sites, in our outpatient specialty clinics. This role provides comprehensive outpatient neurologic evaluation, diagnosis, and management for adolescents (age 16+) and adult patients with a wide range of neurologic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage conditions that may include:

• Migraine and chronic headache disorders
• Memory loss and cognitive impairment
• Essential tremor and movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease
• Dizziness and balance disorders
• Epilepsy and seizure disorders
• Multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating conditions
• Peripheral neuropathy and neuromuscular conditions

• Deliver care for both new and established patients in an outpatient-focused setting.
• Manage medications and treatment plans in accordance with current neurologic best practices.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, with convenient access to on-site imaging and ancillary services.
• Provide patient and family education, counseling, and long-term disease management support.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care, cardiology, orthopedics, pain management, pulmonology, sleep medicine, and therapy services to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
• Interpret EEG studies (highly preferred).
• Perform and interpret NCS/EMG studies (highly preferred).
• Perform Botox injections for chronic migraine and other neurologic indications (highly preferred)

Essential Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Medical College with a Medical Degree
• Successful completion of a ACGME Neurology residency program
• ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association required.
