*WHAT TO EXPECT*
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located at our Columbia, MO facility, this role serves as a Product Data Management Specialist supporting our Materials Science and R&D teams.
This role supports materials innovation, regulatory compliance, and technical data management within our Materials Science team. You will collaborate with scientists, engineers, laboratory teams, and suppliers to manage raw material specifications, regulatory documentation (SDS/REACH), and system data across Oracle and PLM platforms.
This position acts as a technical liaison between R&D, engineering, suppliers, and operations, ensuring accurate material data, regulatory compliance, and efficient change management processes.
*Key responsibilities (to name a few):*
· Lead and coordinate the change management process for raw material specifications, both internally and with suppliers.
· Maintain and update raw material specifications and related databases to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
· Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, including material “Where Used” tracking and Chemicals of Concern coordination (including collaboration with EU REACH requirements).
· Serve as the primary liaison with suppliers for Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and material documentation.
· Act as the ERP (Oracle) subject matter expert, supporting:
· Item creation and setup
· Item costing
· Were Used analysis
· Data transfers between Product Lifecycle Management (Windchill) and Oracle
· Provide R&D laboratory system support, including:
· Lab order submissions
· Lab metric calculations, reporting, and data analysis
· Cross-functional projects with Engineering and leadership, primarily utilizing Excel for reporting and process improvement initiatives
*ABOUT YOU*
· Post-secondary education is preferred
· Minimum 8 years of previous experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment-preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
· Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
· Strong in change management and documentation skills.
· Excellent planning and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
