An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Director to join a growing finance company based in Poole, Dorset. This is a fantastic role offering a salary of £100k, plus a comprehensive benefits package, for an individual looking to take ownership of the entire IT function. The role is office-based, 5 days a week, and offers a dynamic environment with a forward-thinking company.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and manage the entire IT function, from infrastructure to software development, ensuring seamless operations. Develop and implement a strategic IT roadmap to transform the company into a tech-led industry leader. Oversee the integration of new technologies, including automation and AI, to streamline operational processes and enhance security. Build and manage an enterprise-wide data architecture to ensure clean, traceable, and auditable data across all systems. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define IT requirements and ensure smooth implementation and change management.

What Experience is Required?

Proven experience in senior IT leadership roles within the Fintech industry, with a strong background in lending or property development finance. Strong technical knowledge of modern cloud-based infrastructures, Microsoft 365, and integration technologies such as PowerAutomate and PowerApps. Experience in driving digital transformation, including the adoption of AI, automation tools, and best practice governance.

Location Based in Poole, Dorset, this role is easily commutable from nearby towns such as Bournemouth, Christchurch, Wareham, Swanage, and surrounding areas.
