Job Summary
The Systems Administrator IV will provide advanced administrative support for various business applications, with a strong focus on Informatica platforms.
This role involves managing migration activities to cloud environments, supporting upgrades, maintaining system stability, and handling incident and change management processes.
The position requires strong communication, leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with large groups and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Support a wide range of business applications, with a primary focus on Informatica tools. Manage and support Informatica environments, including upgrades from version 9.2 to 10.5 and cloud migration activities. Provide on-call support, including workload adjustments and documentation for on-call tasks. Perform administration activities for Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Data Quality, automation tools, systems integration, and file transfer tools. Engage in incident management, change management, and effective upward communication. Communicate with Informatica customers, users, and community groups to address issues and provide solutions. Troubleshoot system-level issues and ensure smooth operation of supported platforms. Apply ITIL practices in daily operations and service delivery. Collaborate with large teams and participate in discussions involving technical challenges and solutions. Offer leadership support as required to guide operational tasks and team activities. Required Qualifications
Strong experience administering Informatica platforms, including PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality. Experience supporting Informatica workloads in both on-premises and cloud environments. Knowledge of Informatica administration tasks, including upgrades, performance support, and workload management. Hands-on experience with systems integration and automation tools. Familiarity with file transfer tools and enterprise system workflows. Experience providing on-call support and creating support documentation. Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident management and change management. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain issues, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders. Experience working with large groups and managing conversations with external customers. Leadership experience in supporting technical operations. Medium to expert-level experience with Informatica solutions. Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting cloud migrations involving Informatica products. Background working with complex data center environments and system architecture understanding.
