Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our key distribution hub in Jacksonville, Florida. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of all warehouse equipment and systems. Your expertise ensures the uninterrupted flow of goods, directly impacting our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all warehouse machinery, including conveyor belts, automated systems, and forklifts.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning safely and efficiently.
  • Respond to repair requests promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean and orderly, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Must utilize all required PPE , such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
  • Involves frequent lifting of heavy components, up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent understanding of workplace safety procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
