Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stock received goods into appropriate warehouse locations using FIFO where applicable.
- Accurately pick items from shelves based on order requests.
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring protection against damage.
- Prepare shipments for pickup by carriers, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety protocols diligently.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is advantageous.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Understanding and commitment to safety procedures in a logistics setting.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and operate various equipment.
