This is a dynamic role where you'll contribute to the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling a variety of tasks from receiving and stocking to order picking and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against documentation.
- Sort, stock, and stage inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and accuracy using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required), safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, strictly adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Understand and implement logistics best practices in all tasks.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE throughout the shift.
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and upkeep as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred, but willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of consistent PPE usage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
