Join our dynamic logistics team in the heart of New York City, New York, as an Inventory Clerk. We are seeking a meticulous and organized individual to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, updating inventory records in our system, and assisting with stocktaking. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to work independently. You will be a key player in ensuring that our inventory data is reliable, which is crucial for efficient warehouse operations and accurate order fulfillment. Safety is paramount in our work environment, and all employees are expected to adhere to strict Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. While the role focuses on data management, occasional Lifting of inventory items may be necessary. Experience with inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Update and maintain inventory records in the WMS.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE when handling inventory.
- Support the overall logistics and warehousing operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory integrity.
