Seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our busy warehouse in Detroit, Michigan. As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves, verifying order details, and preparing items for packing and shipment. This position demands a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and a strong understanding of inventory management principles. You will be an essential part of our logistics chain, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. The role involves physical activity, including consistent Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and moving throughout the warehouse. Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all Safety guidelines and utilizing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. Key duties include:
- Reading and interpreting picking lists or order forms
- Using RF scanners to locate and confirm inventory items
- Selecting correct items and quantities
- Transporting picked items to designated packing or staging areas
- Maintaining an organized and clean workspace
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed
