Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Jacksonville, Florida? We need your expertise to ensure the efficient and safe movement of goods within our busy warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from designated areas, and assisting with inventory management. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to operate equipment with the utmost care and adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly and that materials are handled correctly. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to a productive and safe work environment. We value precision, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Your skill in operating forklifts is essential to our supply chain success. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production areas, and loading docks.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including put-away and retrieval.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics and material handling best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
