Responsibilities:
- Unload and process incoming merchandise, verifying counts and checking for damage.
- Systematically store inventory in its assigned location, employing safe lifting practices.
- Accurately pick items to fulfill customer orders and internal requests.
- Assemble, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to specifications.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and free of hazards, adhering to safety standards.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and other checks.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by assisting colleagues and communicating effectively.
- Strictly follow guidelines regarding the use of PPE and general workplace safety.
Qualifications:
- GED or high school diploma preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Capability to handle physical labor, including lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Understanding and application of safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Ability to remain on your feet, move around, and perform manual tasks for the duration of your shift.
- Basic knowledge of logistics principles is advantageous.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
