We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina! This role is vital for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement. Your expertise will ensure that our stock levels are precise, minimizing discrepancies and optimizing efficiency within our logistics operations. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We value accuracy and efficiency in all our logistics processes. - Developing and implementing effective inventory control procedures.
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Managing and reconciling inventory adjustments.
- Collaborating with warehouse operations and other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitoring stock rotation and ensuring proper storage conditions.
While not the primary focus, occasional lifting may be necessary. Strict adherence to safety regulations and the proper use of PPE are mandatory. This role is critical for optimizing our logistics and supply chain. Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related field is required.
