As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory, supporting production, and maintaining an organized workspace. This role demands significant physical effort, including frequent and heavy Lifting , as well as operating material handling equipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks with materials and finished goods.
- Conduct regular checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of all required PPE .
- Perform duties involving significant Lifting (up to 70 lbs) and physical exertion.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong understanding of material handling equipment and warehouse Logistics .
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including frequent Lifting and maneuvering of heavy items.
- Excellent awareness of workplace Safety practices.
- Must be comfortable wearing required PPE .
