We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and shipping. Your efforts are vital to the smooth functioning of our supply chain, ensuring products reach their destinations efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory organization within the warehouse.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Ensure the correct use of warehouse space and proper product placement.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Support overall logistics operations as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
