Our Milwaukee, Wisconsin warehouse is seeking a versatile Warehouse Associate to contribute to our growing logistics operations. This role involves a variety of tasks critical to our supply chain, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. You will play an essential part in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing of goods. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively with team members. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory organization to ensure accessibility.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to established standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety and the use of PPE.
- Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
- Support the broader logistics team in achieving operational goals.
- Be prepared for tasks that involve frequent lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand product information, order tickets, and shipping labels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of general warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- A basic understanding of logistics processes is beneficial.
